Me and my husband love making pizza! It’s a family tradition that his father and mother taught him! My husband taught me and we love homemade pizza. This is simply delicious, easy, fresh and healthy!
Pizza Topping:
1 Bag of Bacon sliced into pieces
1 red capsicum chopped
1 yellow capsicum chopped
1 onion chopped
A handful of olives chopped
A handful of peppadews chopped
A handful of sundried tomatoes sliced
4 Big Mushrooms sliced
Tomato Sauce for the base of the pizza
2 Cups of Grated Cheese for on top of the pizza
Salt and Pepper to taste
Pizza Dough:
3 Cups of flour
2 packets of instant yeast
Teaspoon of salt
Tablespoon of white sugar
Lukewarm Water
1 Pack Tomato Paste / Tomato Sauce
In a mixing bowl add all the dry ingredients and mix well with a wooden spoon.
Put the oven on 50Degrees Celsius.
Make dough by adding lukewarm water, to dry ingredients slowly while mixing until dough is soft but not sticky.
Fold the dough into a boulge, round on the top and hollow below. Place in an oven proof bowl. Let it rise to double it’s size.
After the dough has risen, roll out the dough till you get two pizza bases.
Place on two round pans and let rise again to thicken up.
After it has risen turn oven to 180Degrees to firm up base.
After it has baked remove, and spread the tomato paste / tomato sauce onto the bases of the pizza dough.
Put the pizza topping on top and cover with cheese.
After the two pizzas have been topped with topping and cheese place in the oven on 180Degrees for 15min. Then swap two pizzas to evenly cook for another 15min.
After the pizza has been finished baking remove and place on a board for it to cool a little.
Serve and enjoy, best served hot!
