Who doesn’t love ice cream and who doesn’t love mousse. I know I do! I have been loving ice cream since being a kid growing up, since living in New Zealand they have the best ice cream and chocolate I have ever eaten.
In this recipe I have used the Whittaker’s Creamy Milk block, but you can use any chocolate block. This was just to test the recipe and to see if it will work.
Start by melting the 250g of chocolate block in the microwave. If melted set aside to cool down.
In a mixing bowl add in 600ml of thickened cream. Use the creamer attachment on the electrical standing mixer and slowly cream the melted chocolate and thickened cream.
Place some of the mixture in a glass pudding bowl and place in the fridge to set. Serve with some cream or vanilla ice cream and enjoy!
Place the rest of the mixture in a tin bowl and place in the freezer for 3 hours to set. Serve the ice cream with some sauce and enjoy!
