When I started with this recipe that I found online, I used 1 can of condensed milk. The recipe called for 300g condensed milk, and I used the whole can. After yesterday, my fudge mixture wasn’t set, and I don’t waste any baking ingredients as it is expensive.
I decided to add some more chocolate, I didn’t take any measurements, but it worked! My chocolate fudge finally set!
I went on to our radio stations website, and found the measurements, probably the same I used. They added shredded coconut too. So, I always learn every day. And yes we make mistakes too, and that’s how we learn.
This recipe is a crowd pleaser in every home! You can add from dark chocolate to normal chocolate to even white chocolate and add any additional ingredients.
Place 400g chocolate chopped in a microwave safe bowl, with 1 can of condensed milk.
Let it melt in the microwave for 2-3 minutes. Mix with every 30sec interval.
When melted, place in a baking tray lined with baking paper.
Let it cool down and then place in the fridge to set for 2-3hrs or overnight.
Cut up into blocks, store in an airtight container.
Serve & Enjoy!
Optional: You can add some shredded coconut to nuts or even fruit pieces.
