We are in our second day almost 3rd day of Lockdown Level 2, we can now begin to start socialising again. Invite friends and family, only for a maximum of 10 people.
Over the past few weeks, our neighbours became our friends, they are the most down to earth people, kind, funny and friendly and our kids our toddler like them alot.
Once you immigrate, really all the friends you meet, becomes your family. We invited our neighbours for a barbecue by us. I had so much fun, last before lockdown.
We couldn’t stop talking, you know, you just know when people are your kind of people, your tribe. We are so grateful for such amazing friends, that is just living in the house in front of us.
We realised how much we have in common, how much we are alike and growing up in the same decade. I’m an introvert, I don’t make friends quickly, I struggle because I am so shy and looking for genuine people, that are authentic and just want a simple, happy life and to just be.
In times like these, where most of the world is in lockdown, it’s in the most unexpected ways, that people come into your life.
Cherish those rare, special people, they are far and in between. I am now even more grateful, for every friend that we have that are family, that we made in New-Zealand so far, they are hand picked by God.
Don’t be afraid to reach out, you never know if you never tried.
Be blessed, stay safe, and save lives.
