Butterfly Creek

We visited Butterfly Creek today, what a lovely day it was, even though it was overcast, it was so fun going for an outing. It was packed, full of families and children running everywhere.

We started by the crocodiles, Goldie and Scar. They also fed the crocodiles while we were there, our toddler enjoyed it so much!

After we visited the crocodiles, we went through to the dinosaur park with dinosaurs moving its head and making noises. Our toddler just watched in amazement, and found the dinosaurs also very entertaining.

After the dinosaurs, we went down to the Buttermilk Farm, which have all the different kinds of farm animals and small animals, like rats and bunnies.

It was really a packed filled afternoon, with dinosaurs, some butterflies in the butterfly house, some crocodiles and farm animals. An afternoon well spend!

Butterfly Creek is near Auckland airport. There are a food court in Butterfly Creek. They are open from 9am to 5pm. You can get a family pass for $75 which includes 2 adults and 2 children.

Children under 3 years old are free! If you don’t know what to do, or sitting at home wondering what you can do and you are in Auckland. This is a lovely place to visit and the kids will enjoy it too! It will keep them entertained!

Grateful for more memories, during this unprecedented times, we need to get out and enjoy the things we love to do!
