It’s funny how stuff works out, when you don’t plan for something specific and it happens. If you plan a dish then it flops, I have been trying to make custard in the microwave for ages!
All I did was that I took my milk tart recipe and made the quantities smaller, and added some of the ingredients and some ingredients I just left out.
My original plan was to make milk porridge, in the end it turned out as home made custard. Yum!
Your welcome to add the amount of vanilla essence and sugar to your preference. Silky, smooth and tasty!
In a microwave safe bowl add in:
400ml Full Cream Milk
1/2 Cup of White Sugar
4 Tbs Cornflour
Pinch of Salt
15ml Vanilla Essence
Whisk vigorously, then place in the microwave for 5 minutes.
Remove from the microwave after 5 minutes amd whisk again. Place back into the microwave and let it cook for 1 minute, whisk again and let cook in the microwave for another 1 minute.
Whisk again and add in the 20ml of vanilla essence, mix well. Place in the fridge and heat up right before you serve your favourite warm pudding, or eat just like this!
