Beef Soup

Beef soup is perfect for rainy days and winter nights. Me and my husband made this, it is yum and have deep, rich flavours, total different flavour profile than the chicken soup.

500g Beef stew meet
1 Red Onion chopped
1 Spring onion chopped
3 Carrots chopped
4 Potatoes chopped
1 Handful of beans
1 Tomato chopped
3 Mushrooms chopped
200g Celery chopped
1 Cup of Barley with 1 cup of water
Lemon Juice
Mixed Herbs
Garlic
Butter
Oil
Balsamic vinegar
Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
2 Teaspoons of sugar

In the pressure cooker pot on the stove add the olive oil, butter and garlic. Let the garlic cook a few minutes then add the red onion and beef meat.

Fry the red onion and beef until till the meat is sealed and brown.

After the beef have been browned, add in the rest of the ingredients, except the potatoes and beans.

Place pressure cooker pot in the pressure, close the lid and set pressure cooker to 46 minutes.

After the 46 minutes is over, release the pressure, open the lid and add in more water, add in some water, add in the beans and potatoes.

Close the lid and put the pressure cooker on 36 minutes, after 36 minutes, release the pressure and add more water, so that it is a soup consistency.

Serve with some toast and enjoy!
