Oreo Cheesecake Pops by Bianca

I got these recipes from one of my friends and it’s devine! It’s super easy to make, and just yummy and the balance between sweet and the bitter of the oreo biscuits, makes it a yummy treat in itself.

I made this oreo cheesecake pops for our daughters birthday party coming up.

Start by removing all the whites from the oreo biscuits of three oreo packets. That’s 147g per packet x 3 = 441g of oreos. The whites should be in a seperate bowl and the black from the oreo outsides should be in another seperate bowl.

Crush the black outsides of the oreo biscuit with a food processor till crumbs like texture. Set aside.

In the bowl with the whites of the oreo biscuit, add in 500g cream cheese, mix well using an electric mixer till well incoporated.

Add in the crushed black outsides of the oreo biscuits and mix well, till well incoporated.

Roll into balls, or use a spoon and place spoonfuls full on a prepared baking tray, till the mixture is used up. Place in the freezer for 1 to 2 hours till set.

Melt about 300g chcocolate block. Dip the oreo balls in the melted chocolate using toothpicks.

Place back in the freezer on prepared baking trays for 10 to 15 minutes. Remove from the baking trays and place in an airtight container in the fridge.

Serve and enjoy!

I used white chcocolate the Whittakers and coloured it using gel food colouring.
