I love oreos and who doesn’t love oreos in a cheesecake? I know I do. I made this cheesecake a few days ago and it came out delicious. You can add your own twists to it.
Ingredients:
250g Shortbread Biscuits Crushed
50 – 70g Butter or Margarine melted
3 Packets of Oreos (147g per pack x 3 = 441g ) of oreos. The Black Cookies seperated from the white icing. White icing placed into a seperate bowl.
500g Cream Cheese
1/2 Can Cold Condensedmilk
500ml Fresh Cream
15ml Lemon Juice
Method:
Add the melted butter or margarine to the crushed shortbread biscuits. Using a springform cake pan add a layer of baking paper onto the bottom. Press the biscuit mixture base onto the base and sides of the springform cake pan. Place in the fridge to set.
In a mixing bowl, add the cream cheese and mix till smooth and creamy. Add in the white icing of the oreos and mix well till well incoporated. Add in the cold condensedmilk and also add in the crushed oreos a little bit at a time till well incoporated. Add in the fresh cream and mix till creamy and smooth. Add in the lemon juice and mix well till well incoporated for a few minutes.
Pour cream cheese mixture onto the biscuit base, let the cheesecake set overnight in the fridge. Remove the outside of the springform cake tin. Remove the bottom of the springform cake tin as well. Place the cheesecake onto a cake stand and slice and serve with some coffee or tea.
