Nothing beats South African pancakes on a rainy day with cinnamon and sugar. You can add in milk tart filling, caramel filling and even mousse. South African pancakes is bigger than crêpes and a little bit thicker.
This is the best recipe and easiest and the yummiest too!
1 and 1/2 Cups of Flour
1 and 1/2 Tbs of Custard Powder
1/2 Tsp Baking Powder
1.25ml of Salt
2 and 1/2 Cups of Water
1/2 Tbs of Vinegar
90ml of Canola Oil
Add the flour mixture to the egg mixture. Fry in a non-stick or crepe pan and turnover, till golden.
Place on a paper towel, sprinkle with some cinnamon mixed with sugar, and roll up.
Makes about 9 pancakes.
