This German buttercream is used on cakes or cupcakes. It is not so sweet like buttercream, some people prefer German buttercream to normal buttercream.
226g Unsalted Butter at room temperature
1/4 Teaspoon Salt
Using an electric mixer mix together the butter and sugar until creamy and fluffy.
Add in the custard a bit at a time until well mixed.
Add in the salt and mix for 5 minutes.
Place in the fridge and use when required for cupcakes and cakes.
