Another new addition to the milk tart family! I must say this was actually really nice and not too bitter or overly sweet, just perfect!
120ml White Sugar
Pinch of Salt
250ml Cocoa Powder
250ml Boiled Water
3 Tbs Cornflour mixed with 3 Tbs Water
250g Krispie biscuits
50g melted butter
Crush the biscuits up using a food processor or a bag and a rolling pin.
Melt the butter and mix through with a fork.
Press into a glass dish and place in the fridge.
In a jug add 250ml cocoa powder and 250ml boiling water. Mix with a fork, to get rid of any lumbs, if the mixture is too thick add some more boiling water and mix through. Set aside to cooldown.
In a microwave safe bowl or big jug, add in the rest of the milk tart ingredients and mix using a hand mixer. Add in the cornflour and water mixture and mix through. Add in the cocoa mixture to the rest of the ingredients. Place in the microwave for 15 to 20 minutes and whisk with every 5 minute intervals till mixture is a thick consistency. Pour onto the base and sprinkle with cinnamon powder. Wait to cooldown to room temperature and place in the fridge to set.
Serve with a dollop of cream and enjoy!
