Creamless Chocolate Mousse

I made this chocolate mousse cause I only had eggs and not cream. It forms a layer on top. It is very delicious even though it contains no cream. The condensed milk gives it a delicious taste and not overly sweet.

100g 70% Dark Chocolate Block
3 Large Eggs Seperated
60ml Caster Sugar
1 Tsp Condensmilk

In a small glass bowl, add in the dark chocolate block that have been chopped into pieces. Melt in the microwave for 2 minutes and 30 seconds. Mix with every 30 second intervals, so the chocolate don’t burn till melted. Set aside to cooldown to room temperature.

Seperate 3 large eggs. Add the egg yolks into one bowl and the egg whites into another.

After the chocolate have cooled down, add in the egg yolks one by one and fold into the chocolate till well incorporated.

Whip up the egg whites using an electric hand mixer till stiff peeks form. Add in the 30ml caster sugar and whip up till well combined. Set aside.

Add the teaspoon of condensed milk to the egg and chocholate mixture and fold in using a spoon.

Fold in the stiff egg whites using a spoon till well incorporated. Place in glass ramekins in the fridge to set. Serve and enjoy.
