500ml Fresh Milk
3 Eggs Yolks
100ml White Sugar
150ml Extra Fresh Milk
40ml Vanilla Essence
In a microwave safe bowl, add in the 500ml milk. Place in the microwave and heat up for about 10 minutes till warm.
In another bowl, whisk together the egg yolks, cornflour, white sugar and extra milk.
Add the mixture to the warm milk and whisk until well incorporated.
Pour custard mixture into a pot on the stove and temperature on high. Whisk constantly to prevent burning. Turn temperature to medium and mix until mixture thickens up. Remove from the heat and add in the vanilla essence.
Pass the custard through a sieve into a bowl and fold in the butter till well incorporated.
Serve with your favourite fruits and desserts or eat on it’s own. Yum!
