Garlic Butter, Paste & Oil

There are so many uses to garlic. Garlic is a versatile ingredient used in everything from food to health benefits. This easy recipe with many uses, will come in handy when you need it the most.

From the beginner homecook to star chef. Anyone can make this recipe and apparently it had been used for generations.

You will need:

1 Oven Safe Bowl with Lid.

Olive Oil/Vegetable oil to cover the garlic.

About 500g of fresh garlic, peeled and skin removed.


In a oven safe bowl, add in the peeled and skin removed garlic into the bowl. Cover with olive oil/vegetable oil till garlic is completely covered.

Cover the oven safe bowl with a lid. Place on the middle shelf in the prepared oven for 3 hours on 140 degrees celsius.

Remove from the oven and wait for it to cool down. In a glass jar with a lid, scoop the garlic cloves into the glass jar and add the oil to the garlic cloves till covered. Place in the fridge, and use as butter on toast or as a paste in dishes.

With the remaining oil, place into a glass bottle and use as needed in dishes, when frying and cooking food.
