I made this brownies and tweaked it so that it is more user friendly. It is very yummy and gooey. It is delicious and oreo yum!
Ingredients:
300g Milk
Chocolate, chopped (I used Whittaker’s)
125g butter, chopped
250ml Caster Sugar
5 eggs
260ml Flour
4.5ml Baking Soda
3ml Baking Powder
80ml Cocoa Powder
14 x OREO Cookies, finely
chopped
28 x OREO Cookies (extra)
Method:
Combine the chocolate and butter in a saucepan and gently heat, until melted and smooth. Remove from the heat and transfer to the mixing bowl.
Cool slightly.
Whisk in the sugar and then the eggs, but do not overbeat. Mix in the sifted flours, cocoa powder and chopped OREO Cookies then pour into a grease lined 28cm x 18cm slice pan (ensure paper extends 5cm above) the edge.
Arrange the OREO Cookies on their sides to create a diamond past diagonally across the brownie.
Trim OREO Cookies to fit if necessary.
Bake in a moderate oven 170°C for 45-50 minutes or until cooked.
Cool completely in pan on a wire rack. Store in an airtight container until required.

Makes 20 brownies. The total amount of oreos used is 1 packet of 370g.
