Salad Greens out of the Veggie Garden

Did you know that you can eat all the veggie leaves that comes out of your veggies as they grow? I was just doing some research on google, to find out if it it’s safe to eat, and it is.

You can chop up any veggie leaves from your veggies and wash them, drain them and then chop them up and put them into ziplock bags and freeze them if you are not gone use them straight away.

I collected our beetroot leaves and onion leaves. The onion leaves can be used in your dishes or in salads and beetroot leaves is very good in salads.

Beetroot leaves is rich in Vitamin K, copper, magnese, iron and calcium.
