Smarties White Chocolate

Growing up, I would eat lots of blocks of white chocolate filled with smarties goodness. I made these recently using the Whittaker’s white chocolate and it tastes just as delicious if not better.

You will need:

250g White Chocolate Block

200ml Smarties/M&M’s/Astros/Any other chocolate coated coloured confectionery.

In a glass bowl in the microwave add the chopped chocolate and melt for 2 minutes, mixing every 30 second interval till melted. You can melt the chocolate using a double boiler as well, or on the stove top, using a pot filled with water and then a sieve placed on top and boiling and melting in a glass bowl (that’s how I melted it). It’s safe and will prevent burning the chocolate.

After the chocolate have been melted, slowly add in the smarties or confectionery and place into a chocolate mould. Place into the fridge till set.

I also used mini cupcake cups to place the chocolate in, and it worked perfectly.

Leave in the fridge overnight. Remove from the moulds and cupcake cups. Wrap in foil and place in the fridge.

Enjoy whenever!
