I don’t know about you, but I have recently worked in cauliflower rice as my alternative to rice and pastas. I absolutely love cauliflower rice. It is crunchy super yummy and also counts toward your extra vegetable intake.
My husband made this dish and ate it with rice. If you don’t eat cauliflower rice or prefer normal rice, it’s all good.
This meal is delicious either way.
3 Tbsp tomato sauce / ketchup
2 Tbsp chilli paste), add 1/2 Tbsp more to make it spicier
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 Tbsp soy sauce
2 Tbsp minced garlic
1Tbs peanut oil
Mix all the ingredients together and set aside.
In a pan add a spoonful of olive oil. Fry the onion and red capsicum till soft and golden. Remove from the pan.
Add in 300g of chicken strips. Fry in the pan in some olive oil till cooked, tender and soft. Add in the korean sauce and fry till well coated. Add in the fried onion and capsicum. Add in a handful of mushrooms chopped.
Serve with some rice or cauliflower or brocoli rice.
