Home Made Cashew Milk (Sweetened – Optional)

Good morning, sorry that I have been missing in action this past week, alot have been going on and my health is not good lately. I will do my best to post all the recipes I have lined up. Sorry for the delay.

This morning in NZ time, I bring you cashew milk, you can add honey or not it’s all optional. Add more water or less water to your own preferences.

In a bowl add in 500g of unsalted, clean cashews that have been peeled. Add some water and leave overnight for at least 12 hours.

After 12 hours, remove the water add it all into your blender or nutri bullet. Cover with water till maximum level and add 2 teaspoons of honey.

Blend up and strain using a nut milk bag. In NZ you can get it here:

Strain and add the milk to a 1L glass bottle. I used my nutri bullet and blended up halve and halve, straining and pouring milk into the glass bottle.

Use within 5 days.
