Chocolate Brownie Malva Pudding

Since we are in the spirit of the brownies, I made this malva pudding, it’s a warm pudding but my daughter says it tastes just like brownie, so that where the name come from. I took the malva pudding that is already on here and turned it into a chocolate malva pudding. It is quite delicious, I my daughter just loves it.

Pudding:
1 and 1/2 Cups of Flour
10 ml bicarbonate of soda

10 ml Baking Powder
240ml sugar
3 eggs
75 ml Strawberry jam
50 g butter, melted
5 ml vinegar
1 and 1/2 Cup of milk

60ml of Cocoa Powder mixed with 90ml Boiled Water

Sauce/Syrup:
120g 70% Dark Chocolate
30g Butter
125ml Caster Sugar
1 Tbs Condensed Milk

Method:
Sift together flour and bicarbonate of soda, baking powder and add the sugar.

Beat together eggs, strawberry jam, melted butter, vinegar and milk, then add to dry ingredients, add in all the other ingredients. Mix well to form a batter.

Spoon into a greased ovenproof dish and bake in preheated oven of 180°C for about 45 minutes or until done.

Place dark chocolate, butter, caster sugar and condensed milk in a saucepan and heat until the butter has melted and the sugar has dissolved. Do not allow the mixture to boil.

As soon as the pudding is removed from the oven, pour the hot syrup over it and let it soak into the pudding.

Enjoy!
